A nice view of the SLC-6 Complex from high above!

Here you can get a sense for the size of SLC-6 by the people standing in front of the flame duct!

About 8:00pm PDT.

T-5 seconds the hydrogen starts to flow through the CBC and is
burned off so it doesn't collect and cause an explosion.

The flame duct in the foreground was built for the Space Shuttle's main engines
 and has since been filled with cement.
