Here I capture the Delta 4H in a reflection in one of my camera boxes.

Two more of my remotes ready for launch.

After setup we stopped outside the pad perimeter and shot the windsock
because of the forecast high winds for launch day.

Another photo of me by Gene Blevins/LA Daily News.

After two days of scrubs and not even getting to fuel the vehicle we
had to pickup all our remotes and wait for the Atlas 5 to launch before
Boeing would announce a new launch date!

T-5 seconds the hydrogen starts to flow through the 3 CBC's and is
burned off so it doesn't collect and cause an explosion.

It also burns the insulation off the CBC's which is normal.

Liftoff was at 4:50pm EST Dec. 21, 2004 from Canaveral's Complex 37B launch pad.
