Liftoff was at 4:50pm EST Dec. 21, 2004 from Canaveral's Complex 37B launch pad.

At the Press Site about 7 miles away you can see the 37B pad between the tripods.

This was shot with the new Minolta D7 with a 600 F5.6.

This sequence of photos show a large piece of railing flying down the launch ramp!

After launch a NASA/USAF Rescue Fire Truck #10 triggers the remote camera one more time!

Finally after a 10 day delay the pad is empty!
