This weekend I went by rail with Bosco
to the Capuchin Noviciate about 80 km away in
Kap'yong. It was much cooler there then Seoul.
Mike Duffy, OFMCap is new to Korea, just starting in
January, and is already celebrating most of the Mass
in Korean.
Here Bosco and I are in front of the
War Memorial for the Ethiopians who fought in the
War.
A little furth down the road fron Kap'yong is
Chin Chung, home of Chin Chong Chicken (I'll
get you the recipe as soon as I have it!)
This is some stuff that they sell here
in the Department Store. It was very expensive
what ever it was...
This refreshing lunch of cold noodle soup is made fresh before your eyes at Hyndai Department Store.
You pay at the register, give the ticket to the
cook and the dough is put in the machine that
squeezes right into the water to make the noodle.
It is then cooled in ice water and served in a
tangy vinigerette.
