Notes

!Birth and death info from Newton Gen., p. 128.,0,874,373 (Newton Gen.) !MARR: Andover Vitals, p. 19, LDS Roll 0010471 states that Mary A. Newton married Mr. William I. Akers by M. Gould, 27 Jan 1853, the same date mentioned by the Newton Geneology. and LDS Archive A537339 , sh 1917 on roll 1,273,514 submited by: Alice J. M. N. Echols 750 So. Grand Street Mesa AZ 85201 --- fam rep: Clifford Richard Newton, 6c 2r of W.I.N.

!William Akers was found in Andover in the 1860 Census (Roll 444, p.65) where is real estate was valued at $1000, and his personal property worth $385. He was a farmer, and a Nancy Webster, aged 68 was living in the same residence (I suppose his or her mother) with Mary A, Mary F, William W., Winthrop N. and George H. Also, living next door are John and Nancy F Akers and Samuel and Sarah B Akers, whom I presume to be brothers of William I. Also the 1850 Census (r. 262, p.196) Lists Nancy Webster living with John and Nancy Akers, with Samuel next door. William must have been lieing to the census people..if b. 1811, he'd be 49, not 40 in the 1860 census, and 59 not 57 in the 1870 (Roll 550, p. 17) census 69, not 61 in the 1880 (Vol 8, ED 116, p. 9, line 43) census.
