This photo shows the MST around the Delta II on monday
Sept. 17th.
Main engine ignition!
The Delta II/Worldview 1 launches on 1st try at 11:36:am PDT.
Press Site for SLC-2 is a little rough! You can see the launch pad in the far left corner.
A 600mm lens captures liftoff from the Press Site 3.3 miles away.
Scratch one camera after being set too close to the pad! See photo's below.
The film (black dot) camera was mounted to the yellow railing on right side.
