Greed destroyed the
Roman Empire. Treachery and Avarice contributed. To be in the Roman Army,
one must have been a citizen. A citizen owned property. Eventually the
concept of "good business" degraded to the point where a citizen
who was off fighting for the glory of Rome would return and find his land
taken by those in power at the seat of the empire. His family was displaced,
sold into slavery or even murdered.

Corporate America has apparently
not learned a lesson from this. Neither have cancer cells or microbial parasites.
Hopefully one of these life forms will eventually become aware, and turn things
around.
