( To read about the Titan II/Coriolis launch and Mission click here!)

Titan II liftsoff at 6:19a.m.PST Jan. 6, 2003 from SLC-4 West.

This Titan II used is one of 14 ICBMs converted by Lockheed Martin to
serve as a space launch vehicle. It stood in an underground silo,
topped with a 9.6 megaton nuclear warhead, at Davis-Monthan
Air Force Base in Arizona from 1967 to 1982.

This streak photo was taken about 5.6 miles away and shows the direction of the Titan II.
The horizonal streak is a AF Security Helicopter.

Another streak shot about T+ 2 minutes.

This is a wide angle photo from the back side of the Pad.

Here's a tight shot of the engines with the UT tower.
